Taking in God's Goodness; breathing out His Love

#1 Priority...Jesus Christ!

Many folks know that Jesus lived. They know Jesus as a historical figure. They know Him as a wise man, a prophet and a healer.....BUT (Behold Underlying Truth) they don't know Him as their Friend, Savior and God!

A friend is someone who never leaves you or forsakes you and always wants the best for you. A savior is someone who rescues you from impending death or disaster. God is "The One" who created you and then pronounced His creation "very good."

So who is this Jesus that is The Christ ?

First of all, if you do not believe in a God. We ask you to be open minded to the possibility that God exists. We do not wish to quarrel with you but rather introduce you to our Lord.

For those who believe God exists, we'd like to explain how we know that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. The Gospel according to....our understanding!

God created all that ever was, is and will be. In the beginning everything was perfect and needed to be to remain in God's presence for He is Perfection. God gave humankind His greatest gift: Choice !  We believe many good choices were made before the choice of disobedience. Perfection is a like a sheet of glass. Once it it is broken it can no longer be perfect.  When the stone of sin (disobedience) shattered the glass of Perfection, the stone throwing sinner had to be removed from the state of Perfection which is God.

God wanted people to reconcile with Him but no one could understand. Disobedience often muddles our minds so we can not clearly see and sears into our spirits the brand of unworthiness.  Sin mutated from generation to generation. Disobedience gave birth to resentment, resentment to anger, anger to murder. Years passed, and disrespect appeared; with it came lying and stealing. More timed passed and rape, idolatry, adultry, apathy and finally, the cursing of God Himself filled the land!  It wasn't that people didn't want to reconcile with God but because of the clamor of hate and hostility, they could no longer hear Him! The human spirit spiraled downward from Perfection to pollution; because of the darkness, they could no longer see Almighty God!

God decided to send His Light; His Spirit in Human form. Someone who humankind could see, touch, hear,  feel and understand.  His Son is both Divine and human and so, Perfection would be His Father and humanity would be his mother. That Son is Jesus which means "God with us." Christ is a word which tells us of His position. It means He is the "Annointed One."

The gap between God and humankind is deep and wide and jagged. The only way man can be brought home to Perfection is over a bridge built of pure Love. Many people have long since forgotten they are spirits with a mind and body. They only know the physical cycle of birth, work and death. Some believe in God and a heaven but nearly everyone believes you have to be good to get there. Laws act as a mirror to condemn us. God wants us to be washed clean and restored and so, He sent His Son. Jesus came, not to condem us, but to give us eternal life and take us back to Perfection and paradise.

Jesus came into this world and His Perfection taught, healed, blessed, mutilplied and brought the physically dead back to life. In return, Humanity resented Him even though He is of Humanity. He was taunted, ridiculed, betrayed, beaten, battered and crucified until His physical life was no more. He died and was placed in a tomb. The eyes of the physical world pronounced Him gone and forgotten and so it seemed. Three days went by. Women went to the grave to tend to His body but He was gone! He has risen! Just as He said He would!

He overcame the physical world to show you and I that there is more to life then that which we see. Life is not what you see. Jesus proved that!  Life is not what you hear. Rumors of His demise proved that! Life is not what you feel. Feeling unwanted when God has always wanted you proves that!

Proverbs 18:21 says that Life is in the power of the tongue. Our tongue is like a small rudder that steers a large ship. What you say is really what you get!  So say what you want!  You want peace and joy and love and radiant health forever, so speak it! Jesus is all those and more! Invite Him into your life. Let Jesus be your Friend, Savior and God. You have a choice. It's a gift that He extends to everyone. Don't hesitate. Don't worry. Jesus Christ isn't interested in what you have done, where you have been or who you used to be. Jesus only cares about where you are going and who you are becoming.

Come to Him now. Softly... Tenderly... Sincerely... join us in saying:

Jesus, let Your Divine Perfection live in me.
I turn from my sins but more importantly, I turn toward You.
Your were tortured, crucified, died and rose from the grave for me.
Show me how to live for You.
I accept You as my Friend, my Savior and my God.
Use me, Lord, to be Your Light.
Use me, Lord, to do good wherever I go.
Let it begin now, O God, let it begin now!
